{"id":115,"date":"2012-09-25T12:36:33","date_gmt":"2012-09-25T19:36:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postoakforest.com\/web\/?p=115"},"modified":"2012-09-25T12:38:10","modified_gmt":"2012-09-25T19:38:10","slug":"feb-2012-mtg-min","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postoakforest.com\/web\/2012\/09\/feb-2012-mtg-min\/","title":{"rendered":"Feb. 2012 mtg. min."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PostOak ForestBoard Meeting<\/p>\n<p>February 7, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Present:<\/p>\n<p>Kim, Tim, Laura, Eleanor, Bob, Carol, Joyce, Annell, Rhonda<\/p>\n<p>Meeting was called to order at 7:10pm.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes were read and approved<\/p>\n<p>It was moved to approved the slate of officers.<\/p>\n<p>Kim will remain President and Rhonda will remain Secretary.<\/p>\n<p>Eleanor will remain Treasurer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fence Report-<\/span>Kim and Annell reported that we own the fence and have for the 36 years Annell\u2019s been here.\u00a0 It was built in 1976 for security.\u00a0 There\u2019s memory of the fence being repaired at least once.\u00a0 Neighbor (Ms. Kelly) is not going to cover replacing or repairs.\u00a0 Estimated cost $1800-$6200.\u00a0 Antonio can repair for a cost of $300 which includes new posts and repair to a portion of the fence.\u00a0 Tim thinks it will extend the life of the fence by 5-6 years.\u00a0 Antonio should have the latitude to repair rotten pcs. which will increase the cost by approximately $500.\u00a0 The repair will look fine, timber will fade in apprx. 1 yr.\u00a0 Cowboy Construction (estimate of $1800-6200) can return when fence needs to be completely replaced.\u00a0 Current estimate is a deal.\u00a0 Carol vouches for his work.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Treasurers Report-<\/span>Eleanor has produced a more detailed report which breaks down line items more specifically within the budget vs having broad topics. \u00a0Eleanor will figure out a way to account for volunteer hours.\u00a0 Kim\u2019s hrs for pool, Carol\u2019s for grounds and Tim\u2019s for consulting work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>#14 is under contract to close and a form is required for home sales.\u00a0 Currently there are dues still owed.\u00a0 Eleanor will submit resale certificates with current status of the total association dues ($700) explaining that dues were raised to $90 effective Jan 1, 2012.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Rain-<\/span>Substantial rains caused #15 to flood with 2 inches of water.\u00a0 Not expecting compensation but points out structural and drainage issues.\u00a0 Tim explained the history of the area in question.\u00a0 In his opinion this is a community property problem.\u00a0 To fix it a small spillway can be constructed.\u00a0 \u201cA glorified French drain won\u2019t cut it.\u201d\u00a0 Can a continuation of existing berm provide a solution?\u00a0 Antonio will check drains and pipes to make sure they are clear.\u00a0 It was proposed to \u201cshoot the grade\u201d through the benefit of Larry\u2019s (Laura\u2019s family\u2019s) equipment.\u00a0 Tim will consult and evaluate.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pool Lights-<\/span>Joyce and Carol\u2019s \u201cmission from God\u201d.\u00a0 Carol spoke with Michael Young with Bryan Electric.\u00a0 The estimated cost is about $1000 for labor and $2390 for LED lights.\u00a0 We need to confirm what the cost entails and have a more detailed explanation from Michael.\u00a0 Tim proposed 6 lights, all on one side, down low to minimize light noise for neighbors and have the lights larger.\u00a0 We will consult with Michael on this downsized approach.\u00a0 Materials need to be durable with a nice aesthetic.
