{"id":1170,"date":"2026-04-14T06:40:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-14T11:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/postoakforest.com\/web\/?p=1170"},"modified":"2026-04-16T21:05:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T02:05:04","slug":"post-oak-forest-homeowners-board-meeting-april-12th-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postoakforest.com\/web\/2026\/04\/post-oak-forest-homeowners-board-meeting-april-12th-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Post Oak Forest Homeowners Board Meeting April 12th, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Meeting was called to order Sunday, April 12th at 7:14:44pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Attendees:<\/em> <\/strong>\u00a0Alan Needleman, Don Lipkin, Stacy Light, Tom Light, Cherie Cotner, Don Lipkin, Kim Tolman \u00a0and Carla Cozad.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes from last meeting were approved as posted on website.<\/p>\n<p><em>No Treasurer&#8217;s Report-<\/em> Kenneth is busy with Tax Season.<\/p>\n<p><em>No Architecture&#8217;s Report<\/em>-Julius is out of town.<\/p>\n<p><em>Pool Report by Kim Tolman-<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Kim has contacted 7-8 different pool companies. \u00a0They do not work on commercial pools. \u00a0We are considered commercial.<\/p>\n<p>ECO Pool people came to give us an estimate on the pool equipment. \u00a0Estimate is approximately $1205 for repairs to date.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Action Item:<\/strong> \u00a0Move to repair equipment $1205 and once a week maintenance price of $400 and seconded. \u00a0The vote in the affirmative was unanimous.<\/p>\n<p>Also it is necessary for us to have rules posted in a permanent location by the pool since it is commercial but private.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Request for Action Item!!<\/strong> <strong>Ken &amp; Don- Action Item<\/strong>-please advise us \u00a0on the insurance policy we have in place. \u00a0Do we need an umbrella policy? \u00a0Please give us details so that we may review insurance policies before next meeting.<\/p>\n<p><em>Grounds Report by Tom Light<\/em>&#8211; replanted front garden. \u00a0Looks great!<\/p>\n<p>Tom instructed the crew to blow leaves in back of units 10-15 farther back in the forest. \u00a0 The grates in the back of those homes need to be cleaned on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Request for Action Item!!<\/strong> We would like to propose hiring a landscape architect to look at this area for a permanent drainage solution. \u00a0Tom Light can have someone come look at this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Action Item:<\/strong>\u00a0 It is time to do a walk through on the grounds for our semi-annual tree trimming for the HOA. \u00a0Tom Light will do a walk through with Spencer, our tree trimmer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Request for Action Item!!<\/strong> \u00a0 Lights on trail going to the pool are out. \u00a0We would like to get an estimate to replace all of them. \u00a0Antonio may know someone who can replace the lights. \u00a0Tom Light will inquire.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nominating Committee<\/em>&#8211; Cherie Cotner, Stacy Light and Laine Totah are asking different homeowners to assume positions on the board that are soon to be vacant.<\/p>\n<p>Amanda and Jason Johnson are taking care of our neighborhood camera.<\/p>\n<p>Action Item: \u00a0Check on Lights with Antonio to pool path- \u00a0Tom Light<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Table for a later meeting the following question. \u00a0 Should we reduce the number of board members for the following year? \u00a0We are thinking 6 or 7 is a good number by percentage of 34 homes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Action Item for Don:<\/strong> \u00a0Please add website to email signature, sending meeting minutes with links to website.<\/p>\n<p>Our next meeting will be May 3, 2026 at 7pm. \u00a0Location to be determined. \u00a0Please advise the board if you would like to attend.<\/p>\n<p>These are open meetings for our community&#8217;s benefit.<\/p>\n<p>Motion adjourned at 8:12pm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meeting was called to order Sunday, April 12th at 7:14:44pm.
