{"id":281,"date":"2015-02-15T21:00:27","date_gmt":"2015-02-16T05:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postoakforest.com\/web\/?p=281"},"modified":"2015-02-15T21:00:27","modified_gmt":"2015-02-16T05:00:27","slug":"jan-2014-annual-mtg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postoakforest.com\/web\/2015\/02\/jan-2014-annual-mtg\/","title":{"rendered":"Jan 2014 Annual Mtg."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Post Forest Annual Progressive Party and Meeting<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>January 21, 2014<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Attendees: Carol, Kim, Kim Carr, Antonio, John Cozad, Bob, Eleanor,\u00a0 Jack, Carol Benson, Joyce, Meredith Collier, Malcolm, Ozden Ochoa, Rhonda, Karen<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kim called the meeting to order at 7:10pm at # 17.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Old Business:<\/p>\n<p>Minutes from January 2013 Annual meeting were read and approved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>New Business:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Eleanor- Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/p>\n<p>The 2013 \u201csnapshot\u201d for the Budget and the 2014 Proposed Budget was circulated for review and discussion.\u00a0 The goal for 2013 was to save money and build capital for the road repair. Details on expenses\/capital improvements were provided (pool, electric meter).\u00a0 The amount of volunteer hours to manage property keeps expenses down; especially pool and grounds.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Carol-Grounds<\/p>\n<p>Grounds work in 2013 was the usual\u2026weeding, watering and bagging leaves.\u00a0 If broken limbs or other matters are of concern, contact Carol for removal.\u00a0 Antonio continues to do good work.<\/p>\n<p>Automatic irrigation water system in the medians is working well and we\u2019re asking homeowners to consider installation.<\/p>\n<p>Dog poop continues to be a problem.<\/p>\n<p>Inquiry regarding LED lamp replacement for lampposts requires a $450 initial investment per post for the conversion kit.\u00a0 We currently pay home owners apprx. $125 annually for electricity usage from street lights. \u00a0Current lamps are not high energy use so is the conversion worth the investment?\u00a0 Are solar powered lamps an option?
