Mtg."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>September 2, 2014<\/p>\n<p>Post Oak Forest HOA meeting<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Participants: Kim Tolman, Tim Rabroker, Carol Scamardo, Laura Doskocil, Karen Dixon, Rhonda Watson, Joyce Birdwell and Antonio Garcia<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meeting called to order at 7:04pm<\/p>\n<p>Minutes were read and approved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Agenda:<\/p>\n<p>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/p>\n<p>Antonio shared a printed report detailing activity over the summer (June, July) through August.\u00a0 All assessments are current.\u00a0 A plumber was hired to replace valves and fix pipes and the shower now works.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Currently we have a $1 million of insurance coverage.\u00a0 For a $100 more we can have $2 million.\u00a0 It was moved and approved to increase the coverage for $100 more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Common grounds<\/p>\n<p>A proposal from the Colliers (#10) was submitted regarding their AC compressor placement on common ground.\u00a0 There\u2019s also an issue with a storage unit being placed on common ground (#9, Ted Todah).\u00a0 Fines are not an effective remedy.\u00a0 We move and approve for Tim to draft a letter for HOA review.\u00a0\u00a0 The letter will start a plan to resolve these and future issues in a way that protects the community, preserves common grounds regarding flow of water and supports the current by-laws.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dogs<\/p>\n<p>A letter will be sent to the community reminding pet owners that city law states dogs must be on a leash while outside and to preserve the grounds, owners must clean up after their dogs.\u00a0 We will request signatures as proof that the letter has been sent, received and read.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Grounds<\/p>\n<p>3 axle sign at the community entrance is dull and leaning and it\u2019s time to replace. \u00a0Large trucks are hard on the road.\u00a0 It was proposed that we address the sign and road upgrade at the same time.\u00a0 There\u2019s a blind spot caused by mature shrubs by Carol\u2019s home.\u00a0 Karen trimmed but this will need to be maintained.\u00a0 Carol and Karen will alert Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>Also repairs are needed on #11.\u00a0 Homeowners live is Mississippi.\u00a0 Wood is rotting.\u00a0 Karen agrees (once she returns) to write a letter to the homeowners.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Roads<\/p>\n<p>Carol spoke with someone who works with Larry Young regarding a more durable road.\u00a0 The cost is more but a representative is coming to give an opinion on how to proceed.\u00a0 A master plan with a focus on the entry to the community and phases to address the \u201chumpage\u201d will be considered.\u00a0 A narrowing and shorting of the island would prevent accidental traffic from using driveways as \u201cturn arounds\u201d and prevent 1-3 from driving out through the \u201cin\u201d side of the entrance.\u00a0 Addressing the standing water is also a priority.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>New neighbors<\/p>\n<p>#14 has new owners, Michael Stevenson with 3 children.\u00a0 There\u2019s a black fence and we will ask for it to be removed.\u00a0 Previous owners used it to keep dogs fenced in.<\/p>\n<p>#4 sold to Geneva and Louis Morella.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Minutes<\/p>\n<p>Two sets of April minutes were read and approved.\u00a0 One set of minutes reflected a special election meeting nominating and approving Antonio as POFs new treasurer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meeting adjourned at 8:20pm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
