Meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">Attendees were Jack Benson, Kenneth Johse, John Cozad, Carol Scamardo, Cherie Cotner, \u00a0Debra Ware and Laine Totah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">1. \u00a0\u00a0GROUNDS REPORT:\u00a0 Asian jasmine in front esplanade is not coming back in.\u00a0 Carol will get three bids to have it replaced and will report back to the board. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2.\u00a0 \u00a0POOL:\u00a0 Laine will contact the Pool Guys to have the cover put on the pool and close it for the winter.\u00a0 This will be done around September 15 depending on the Pool Guys schedule.\u00a0 Laine will send an email to all POF residents once the date is finalized. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">3.<\/span><span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman'; margin: 0px; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE:\u00a0 Roof work was approved for number 7. \u00a0The board discussed the white dome roof visible from the street at number 18.\u00a0 Debra will prepare a letter for board review to send to owner requesting ideas for remediation of the issue.\u00a0 She will also confirm that the downspout color should be submitted for approval.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">4.<\/span><span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman'; margin: 0px; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">OTHER ITEMS:\u00a0 Carol noted there are cracks in the new road already.\u00a0 No decision made on solution. Board discussed the situation regarding owners who have water turned off since houses are unoccupied.\u00a0 This poses problems for watering and keeping plants in front areas of these units alive.\u00a0 Other owners have been allowing a hose to be run over and grounds watered.\u00a0 Owners are no longer willing to do this.\u00a0 We discussed compensating owners with funds if they will continue doing this just like we pay owners for electricity to run street lights in front of certain units.\u00a0 Kenneth will send note to unoccupied house to request that they pay an amount for water used on their property to keep plants alive to POF HOA.\u00a0 This could then be distributed to those owners who have supplied their water. \u00a0Another issued regarding street lamp repair was discussed.\u00a0 Carol will contact an electrician to repair the street lamp in front of number 26. Kenneth asked if we could somehow highlight the 1-34 part of the new sign so it is more visible \u2013 possibly paint with darker color.\u00a0 Cherie will check with Karen on this issue.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">5.<\/span><span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman'; margin: 0px; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span dir=\"LTR\">REVIEW OF POF LIABIL<\/span>ITY INSURANCE: The review is still ongoing. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0<\/span>Jack mentioned that we need to start thinking about filling board seats and officer positions for next year.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting adjourned 7:50 .
