Post Oak Forest HOA board meeting was held February 10, 2019. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
Attendees were Jack Benson, Stacy Light, Carol Scamardo, Cherie Cotner, Debra Ware, John Cozad and Laine Totah.
New Items:
Proposed new officers for 2019 were presented:
Debra Ware – President
Jack Benson – Vice President
Kenneth Johse – Treasurer
Laine Totah – Secretary.
John Cozad made motion to approve the proposed officers. Cherie Cotner seconded. All board members approved.
1. GROUNDS REPORT: Carol reported that the grounds were continuing efforts throughout raining season. No other issues.
2. TREASURER: Kenneth presented the financials via email. No outstanding issues. New officers will need to go to bank to update signature authorizations.
3. POOL: No issues to report.
4. ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE: Courtyard skylights for number 31 were approved by ACC. Board voted for approval. Tom Ostrowski is still discussing issues on covering skylight at number 18 with the homeowner. These changes should be finalized in the next few months.
5. OTHER ITEMS: Debra requested all board members read and review the current by-laws and CCR’s looking for any areas that might be out dated and need review. We also need to review the General Rules posted on the website to ensure that they are not contradictory to any by-laws or CCR’s. We also discussed procedures for welcoming new residents. Someone from the board should provide basic information on website, rules and contact names to any new residents.
6. REVIEW OF INSURANCE: Insurance policy renews in May. Debra will review the current policy to see if we need any changes prior to renewal
7. FUTURE PROJECTS:
2019: proposed projects include sprinkler system upgrades (approx $1,000) and possible attorney costs if we need to update by-laws or CCR’s. ( unknown cost)
2020-2021: Patching and sealing road by units 18-30 (approx $8,000) and pool replastering (approx $8,000 – 12,000)
