Agenda

Treasurer’s Report

• Year to date Oct. 2013 budget and financial summary was distributed and reviewed
•  Quick Books has not been implemented as POFs accounting software.  Eleanor wants a systematized approach to balancing the budget, collecting dues, capital projects, bill paying, etc. especially since she will be handing off the Treasurer’s duties by June of next year (2014).  She will try to work with Laura but if she’s not available, hiring help is the next option.

Ground  Report

• Antonio’s bonus will be $500 given in a holiday card-it was moved and approved unanimously
• Carol will remind him to lock the pool gate once the ground maintenance is complete.
• Dying tree has been removed that was discussed in last meeting
• Significant water is standing around#6 and #7.  Is it a meter issue?  A plumber looked and a leak has not been detected for any of the meters.  Carol will ask Antonio to dig a narrow trench to move water away from soggy ground.  Grace Ann will call a plumber for further investigation.

Pool

• Divers from The Pool Guy came today (11/11/13) and completed worked on shut off valve and cover.  Leak has been repaired.  Filter apparatus was not replaced.  Electrician did work on meter (secured wires into meter, case for meter, relieved POF of the paying for the businesses security lights). We have a brand new meter that controls POF.  We are in compliance.
• Sand between bricks that lead to the patio is washing out.  Grounds committee will facilitate a solution with landscaping contractor.
• Batteries could cause a short circuit with the timed sprinklers

Misc.

• Due to the upcoming vacancies and with the busy schedules of current Board members, it was discussed and we will propose to the community, consideration for reducing the number of POF HOA Board members.
• The Annual Meeting needs to be planned and an agenda sent by early December.
