Post Oak Forest HOA meeting

 

Participants: Kim Tolman, Tim Rabroker, Carol Scamardo, Laura Doskocil, Karen Dixon, Rhonda Watson, Joyce Birdwell and Antonio Garcia, Laura Hendler and Laine Totah

Treasurer’s Report

Three (3) home owners are reimbursed for street lights:  #10, #17 and #26.  This year #26 will not be reimbursed due to home renovation and the street light not being used.

Due to mail mix up December 2014 dues for # 34 have not been paid.  Antonio has tried to contact her via letter/s.  We agreed to pay the stop payment fee should that become necessary.  Otherwise all assessments are current.

It was motioned and seconded that the 2015 budget be approved and presented at the 2015 annual meeting.

The 2015 proposed budget will be emailed to Kim by next Tuesday (Jan. 13) and forwarded to homeowners in advance of the annual meeting.

 

Common grounds

The issue with the Colliers regarding relocating their A/C unit to their property and off the common grounds has been resolved.  The Totah’s still have a storage unit on common grounds.

This matter has caused discussion around common ground usage, specifically storage units.  The Grounds Committee can explore options.

 

Bylaws

Homeowner’s using their homes as rental property is still being discussed.  There’s an understanding that the city ordinance states that using POF homes as rental property is not permitted (no one is registered as a B&B or collecting short term rent).  Our by-laws state that no more than 2 unrelated people can occupy a home however there is no time stipulation.  It is proposed POF HOA send a letter to all vacation rental property managers, the homeowners and real estate companies.  How do we inforce this concern? Karen and Laura H. will continue to work on this.

This is a separate issue from making POF a completely non-rental property.

 

Annual Meeting

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 20th @ #17, 7pm.  Kim will contact Ozden and ask if she will present information at the annual meeting on POF being used for long vs short term rental property.

Roads, dogs, budget, grounds committee, will be on the agenda.
