Post Oak Forest HOA board meeting was held January 6, 2019. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
Attendees were Jack Benson, Kenneth Johse, David Hicks, Carol Scamardo, Cherie Cotner, Tom Ostrowski, Debra Ware, John Cozad and Laine Totah.
New Items:
Debra Ware and Tom Ostrowski will need to go to bank to update POF bank signatory cards.
Jack brought forward issue of not having two members of same family on the HOA Board or any POF committee. All board members were in agreement with this proposal.
1. GROUNDS REPORT: Carol reported that the grounds crew removed the shrub at #18. They also added additional plants in the neighborhood and replaced rose bush in front entrance.
2. TREASURER: Kenneth presented the financials. Year end 2018 ended with a balance of approximately $14,000. All HOA assessments are current except one. He has prepared year end and proposed 2019 budget for presentation at annual meeting.
3. POOL: A hard insulated cover was installed over the pool backflow preventer.
4. ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE: Roof work still in process for number 28. Tom is planning a meeting to discuss issues at number 18 with the homeowner. Trash can violations have all been resolved.
5. OTHER ITEMS: Annual meeting will be held Tuesday, January 15th at 7:00 at Carol’s. Board members will bring refreshments.
6. REVIEW OF UPCOMING PROJECTS: Future road maintenance will probably not be necessary until 2020. Pool resurfacing will also be needed around 2020 or 2021.
