Post Oak Forest HOA board meeting was held April 5, 2020. Meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM.
Attendees were Carol Scamardo, Stacy Light, Laine Totah,Jack Benson, Cherie Cotner, Debra Ware and Kenneth Johse. Minutes from last meeting were read. Kenneth made a motion to accept minutes as written, Cherie seconded. Board approved.
- TREASURER: Kenneth noted that two homeowners have not paid dues. Kenneth will transfer $10,000 – $12,000 to savings account this week. Kenneth presented the financials. Stacy made a motion to accept financials as presented and Laine seconded. Motion was approved.
- GROUNDS: Carol will ask Antonio to continue clearing out the weeds in the area. . We discussed adding an electrical street light in front of number 4 as the area is dark and dangerous. Kenneth made a motion to proceed with getting three quotes for the work. Carol seconded and the board approved. Carol will work on getting the bids. Stacy will provide her with the name of a contractor to contact for a bid. The board noted that we will need to inform the homeowner that the electric costs will be added to their bill and the HOA sends a reimbursement of $26.28 per year to them.
- POOL: Laine noted that the pool cover will be removed at the end of April and the filter will have to be taken apart and cleaned at that time. The pool filter is running high pressure but can wait for a few weeks. The city has issued guidance that no subdivision pools are to be open at this time due to the COVID virus spread. We will send notice to all homeowners that even though the pool is uncovered it is not to be used until the city allows.
- ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE: Satellite dish on unit 28 has still not been moved. Debra will continue to send reminders. The owner in number 8 sent a note to the HOA that he is still dealing with the water leak issues.
- ELECTION COMMITTEE: Stacy will draft letter to all homeowners to see if anyone is interested in serving on the HOA board.
FUTURE CAPITAL PROJECTS: proposed projects include sprinkler system upgrades (approx $1,000)
Pool replastering (approx $8,000 – 12,000)
