Post Oak Forest HOA board meeting was held October 13, 2024. Meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM.

Attendees were Kim Tolman, Stacy Light, Jack Benson, Cherie Cotner, Kenneth Johse and Laine Totah.

The September minutes were approved as posted.

Treasurer Report: Kenneth reported financials were all in line. He noted we should be receiving some overdue HOA dues and transfer fees this month.

Grounds Report: Tom met with Antonio concerning next year’s fees for landscaping. Antonio noted that he will need additional man hours to get the work done as he does a lot of extra things in our neighborhood. The board discussed a number of options that could reduce this need including installing sprinkler timers that would make the watering more automated, reducing the bagging of leaves in the fall, blowing off carports only when leaves are heavy, etc. The board agreed to give Tom the authority to speak to Antonio to come up with proposals that could work. We would like to keep any increase in line with an amount that would be covered by a 5% dues increase.

Architectural Control Committee: Unit #7 has submitted a proposal to install a small mini split on the back side of the home as this is the spot the contractor needs to put it to cool the area needed. Kenneth made a motion to approve, Kim seconded. The board approved.

Pool: Pool has been closed for the season. The cover was installed.

Next meeting dates: November 3, and December 8.
