Reports
President’s Report (Don)
o Thank you to Stacy for updating our directory
o Addressing drainage behind #10-#15 is a top priority (see Grounds
update).
o Mosquito problems in pool area persist (see Pool update)
No Treasurer’s Report (Kenneth is unavailable)
No Architectural Control Committee report (see New Business)
Kim gave Don the booklet containing Architecture Control rules and color
samples. Don will scan and post to POF website.
Grounds committee (Stacy for Tom)
o First proposal to improve drainage behind #10-#15 is for $23,645. Tom is
pursuing two additional proposals so that the Board can review and make
a go-forward decision.
o Donal Antill and Spencer did a walk-through to assess tree trimming
needs, identifying three dead trees needing to be cut down and limbs to
be trimmed. Quote was for 2.5 days for $4,125, which is approximately
half of the budgeted amount.
Pool (Kim)
o Eco Pools needs to replace drain cap (Kim to remind). That should be the
last of our required safety actions from the county as the rope marking
the deep end has been installed.
o Kim will send an e-mail to ECO Pools (cc. Kenneth) that they missed
maintenance last week. Prior to this, the pool has been looking better
than in the recent past.
o City put out mosquito traps behind pool fence and Kim has been using
dunks in wet area (source still not identified, although Antonio doesn’t
think it’s a sprinkler leak). It appears that this is helping. Kim will reach
out to the City of CS to see if they can inspect what appears to be a
neglected pool on the other side of the fence.
New Business Announcements:
The Board voted to approve Jennifer Fredericks and Ginny Light as members of the ACC.
Don will send e-mail to all residents informing them that Jennifer (chair) and
Ginny are the ACC and reminding them that they need to submit application form prior to commencing work on the exterior of their homes.
Several neighbors have discovered that their incoming water pressure is high (up to 100psi), which may pose issues to indoor plumbing and appliances. Stacy will send an e-mail to residents with more details.
