Post Oak Forest Board Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 7:08pm

Jan. minutes were read and approved (prep meeting for annual meeting)

It was moved and approved to renew Kim Tolman as President of the Post Oak Forest Home Owners Association and Laura Doskocil will serve as Vice President to replace Cydney Donnell.

Pool

Tim sent an email regarding pool need an anti-suction drain.  Mobley Pool was suggested as a resource for researching the needs.  Kim visited Mobley and a service man advised that it would be necessary to drain the entire pool (55K gallons of water) and put in a new drain.  Approximately $2k.  Thomas the service man will investigate whether or not our pool is considered public.  $1k will cover the cost of changing out the drain cover and adding a shut off device.

Budget

2 homeowners are delinquent for January dues.  Jan. 2013 Budget Summary was reviewed.  Online banking is a dream and Quick Books is close to being on line.

Road

Tim is still gathering information to help make an informed decision on how to proceed.  It’s possible that through Dick Birdwell’s long time involvement with A&M, we could use a professor in the engineering department for assistance.  Kim and Joyce will discuss.

Grounds

Roses will be pruned.  Planting a tree in honor of Arbor Day is being considered.
