Post Oak Forest HOA meeting

Participants: Kim Tolman, Carol Scamardo, Rhonda Watson, Joyce Birdwell, Laura H., Laine Totah, Karen D., and Antonio Garcia

Meeting called to order at 7:10  pm

March minutes were read and approved

Rental property

Kim emailed the work/wording performed by the atty.  One big question is whether the lease length should be 6 month or 12 month.

8 votes for 12 month lease

Kim will send Joe an email asking to change the lease to 12 months, make sure there’s no language around “;grandfathering in” current homeowners who are out of compliance.  Once changes are made, a meeting date will be set and folks will be asked to attend and vote.  Votes can be done electronically.

Fines

Fines are usually determined by Board members on a case by case basis.  It is proposed that the current regarding the compressor that currently sits on commons grounds be fined $50 per week.  If the fines aren’t paid a lien will be placed on her home and the HOA will recoup its money at the time of sell.

Roads and entrance

Karen distributed a draft concept for the road reconstruct/repair/redesign.  Wants feedback before going to the city and proposing this idea.
