Post Oak Forest HOA board meeting was held October 8, 2023 via ZOOM. Meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM.
Attendees were Stacy Light, Tom Light, Kenneth Johse, Kim Tolman, Carol Scamardo, Cherie Cotner and Jack Benson.
September minutes were approved.
TREASURER: Kenneth reviewed the budget. He reviewed the pool and the grounds and noted that the POF Insurance has increased less than $200 over the years. He also stated that capital improvements costs were increased from last year and will be addressed as needed as all services, materials and supplies costs are increasing. It is necessary to increase the monthly assessment to $140 per month. The board agreed to a homeowners Zoom meeting November 14th to approve and vote in the increase. Homeowners can vote at the meeting or by proxy. This must be done before January 1st.
GROUNDS: The grounds committee will pursue work at the entrance irrigation system and relocate the roses – perhaps to the pool area. Tom and Donal helped POF by removing some tree branches and a couple of trees. Homeowner’s help is always appreciated. On October 20 the very large tree between #33 and 34 will be cut and removed. Road congestion may occur.
POOL: The pool will close the week of October 12.
ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE: Julius will return to POF for our November 12th meeting.
NEW BUSINESS: The west end front fence will be fixed. We will have 30 new posts and supports installed and will re-use the pickets. The costs will be $2350 and will be split with the owners of the building in front of the neighborhood.
Meeting adjourned 8:00.
