Post Oak Forest HOA board meeting was held September 12, 2021. Meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM.
Attendees were Laine Totah, Stacy Light, Kenneth Johse, Jack Benson, David Hicks, Carol Scamardo, John Cozad, Matt Henderson and Cherie Cotner.
August meeting minutes were approved as presented.
- TREASURER: Kenneth reported costs are in line with budget. Several pool bills were paid last month.
- GROUNDS: Carol Scamardo reported that everything is very dry and the grounds crew is trying to keep up with the plant maintenance. The second week of October the tree trimmer will be out. Carol asked that a notice go out to all owners to report any dead tree limbs that need to be cut. Stacy will send out the notice. Stacy reported that we had received a concern regarding dogs that were not on a leash and roaming the neighborhood. Stacy will include a reminder about this in her email to all residents.
- POOL: Laine reported that the Pool Guys maintenance is going smoothly. Will be closing the pool around mid October.
- SECURITY CAMERA FOR NEIGHBORHOOD: Stacy installed the camera but it will not pick up the license plate numbers so she will return it. She has a lead on a cellular camera that will be able to pick up the plates. Cherie made a motion to buy the camera and Kenneth seconded. Stacy will order the camera.
- ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE: Julius could use some help in getting in contact with TXDOT to get a Forest Dr sign on the light on University. He will return Oct 20 so if anyone wants to help they should contact him. A Forest Dr sign was put up in the parking lot across the street by the deverloper.
- NEWSLETTER: Cherie is having sofrtware issues but is still working on a newsletter.
- NOMINATION COMMITTEE: Laine has agreed to head up the nomination committee for new officers to be voted on in January. Laine, Stacy and David are set to roll off.
- LEGISLATURE ISSUES: The 87th legislator meeting came up with some new laws for HOA’s. The board officers will meet on Tuesday to discuss these rules that might have bearing on our HOA processes.
Next meeting date is October 10 and will be held in person..
